About
Ford Ranger Engine Oil
Replacing Your Motor Oil
Changing the oil in your Ford Ranger is a quick and easy task that you can do almost anywhere. If your truck isn't lifted enough that you can slide under it, then put the front up on jacks or a ramp. Unscrew the oil drain plug, empty all of the used oil into a catch pan or bucket, then screw the plug back in. Find the oil filter and remove it, replacing it with a new, clean one. When the truck is on level ground again, add fresh oil until it reaches the fill line on the dipstick.Best Engine Oil For Ford Ranger
The year, make, model, and engine size of a car determine what type of engine oil is needed, so filter the options above using those criteria. Or, find the best engine oil for a Ford Ranger in your owner's manual. You can usually find the information on the oil cap, as well. A conventional oil is a fine choice for most Ford Rangers, but you get extra protection for your engine when you opt for synthetic.Whatever you need for your Ford Ranger oil change, you can find it at AutoZone, with the quick convenience of Same-Day In-Store or Curbside Pickup. There's also Free Next-Day Delivery available on eligible orders.

Been using STP conventional for the longest time in my ranger but decided I’d try out full synthetic and this stuff has already made a difference, definitely worth the higher price.(says change after 10k miles but doesn’t hurt to keep on top of it and change it after 6 or 7k).
