      I used this oil in a gasoline engine that I bought from a recycler . I felt its compression was light . Forums said to use this weight to help the compression rings expand after breaking the engine loose if sitting a long time . It worked well and I regained compression . Would have to say it must be a good oil of used in its proper application .
