ball joint replacement

the joint is a higher quality component that whats in the car from the factory. it is difficult to get out. i used a rental ball joint press. it takes time and patience. prior to pressing it out use a big hammer and some break free fluid of some kind and soak it for a bit make sure your press is in good shape and fits the joint correctly or you will have issues. there are a ton of videos out there. most show you how not to do it. this joint takes about 2 to 3 hours to do in the garage.. and you will need a grease gun and quality grease to lube the new joint. it has a grease zerk . the factory joint does not...

Lower Ball Joints

James

in a year

My son and I purchased an entire kit to replace all the front steering components for his 2006 Chrysler 300 RWD with a 2.7L engine and automatic transmission. The machine shop determined that the lower ball joints in the kit would not fit. I went to my local AutoZone for the correct parts which were in stock and were a perfect fit. We're back on the road again. JSJ Lithonia, GA
