Used to replace forward most front control arm bushing. To REMOVE OLD BUSHING recommend soaking in pool of gasoline (or anything similar which will burn readily at atmospheric pressure) over night. If you are not replacing your ball joint avoid letting it come in contact with soaking flammable chemical to avoid destroying its rubber dust boot. After soaking for 24hr set old bushing on fire outside preferably in moist lawn or gravel drivway etc. After some time of burning (as it will burn for over 30 min) put out fire and you should be able to push out from control arm with large slip joint pliers if rubber sticking out ends is mosty burned away. NEW BUSHING INSTALLATION Personally used a large vice. MOST IMPORTANT THING clean hole, use silicon lube, put clamp around smaller end of new bushing. Tighten clamp around leading edge of small side of bushing (if clamp slips off its too tight). Orient control arm and bushing in vice and make sure all is straight. Tighten vice pressure to hold CA and bushing in place. Check straightness, Lube well, Tighten clamp around bushing as much as possible: clamp should hit lip around hole. Tighten vice, loosen bushing clamp slightly if rubber has indeed gone into the hole and not gotten caught on lip. If all is well, tighten vice more and you should be able to remove bushing clamp and use vice to push bushing all the way through. Oh and you will need a ball joint press kit for the adapters so the bushing can slide half an inch out the other side. Thanks For Reading. Good Luck.
