Ford Edge Lug Nut

Added these to compliment the 20-nut package of identical lugs to replace the oddball "locking" nuts included in the 20 nut set. Like the 20 nut package twins, these are solid and are welcome replacements to the factory lugs that include an AWFUL, thin, chrome plated aluminum cap that WILL deform and round off at the most inopportune time, like when you are changing a tire on the side of the road and you don't have a full shop of tools handy to salvage the job. PREVENT DEFENSE is the way to go....wish I knew this ahead of time. Swap out the factory lugs with these and eliminate this problem before it hits you.

The Original Lug Nuts were the capped ones from the factory. White Knight Wheel Nuts are one piece and we haven't had an issue since.

Picked these up when I discovered (the HARD WAY!) that the factory lugs were capped in a thin, chrome coated, aluminum cover. Rotating the wheels revealed the factory lugs don't stand up to repeat use. These are not as shiny but do not burden you with flimsy covers that will round off and make removal a monster challenge. Worked perfectly.
