Works, but differences from OEM become frustrating

Good replacement hose, it is working well and matches the OEM length and fitting threads. However, the fitting at the bottom (attaching to the hard line) takes a larger wrench than the OEM hose, and more frustrating does not have as many threads as the OEM hose. As a result, it started getting tight sooner than I thought it should and I thought it was cross-threaded or something else was wrong. As a result I kept taking it apart and trying again, all while losing power steering fluid each time. It works fine when you realize the fittings don't go as far in as the OEM hose and just go with when it bottoms out and tightens up.
