About Ford Focus Shocks and Struts

If you can drive quickly and comfortably over rough roads, bumpy surfaces, and tight corners, chances are the shocks and struts for your Ford Focus are in good shape still. But there will come a time when they won't leave you quite so sure of your handling, whether due to normal wear and tear or a sudden impact. Bad struts and shocks can throw you for a loop while you're at the wheel, but AutoZone has what it takes to get the job done right from trusted brands like Duralast.

If you're a DIYer, changing a pair of shocks or struts can be done in an afternoon using common garage equipment and tools. Fortunately, it's not a job you'll have to do often since they last around 50,000 miles or so. The right Ford Focus shocks and struts are crucial, and different generations and even trim levels will require different parts. Along with selecting parts for the correct position, decide whether you'd like budget-friendly bare struts or time-saving loaded strut assemblies. If you're unsure, we can help narrow down the options for you.

When you choose AutoZone for your parts, fluids, and accessories like Ford Focus shock and strut replacements, you're investing in your vehicle's health and your safety. Select Free Same Day Pickup and have your parts on hand fast to get your repairs done.

    Perhaps overpriced

B6 rear schocks. I replaced original, from-the-factory shocks that had 112k miles, though no major issues. Since install, no ride height change. Ride doesn't feel much different, I wouldn't even say I notice any change. I plan to double the miles, so the premium nature may pay off later. Shocks were for a 2016 focus. Oh...bellows, bumpers, etc not included, only top not and shock. I just reused factory ones. My four stars is because of the price difference from oem equipment for same ride experience.

(2006 Ford Focus) I like how good the shock looked and it was packages nicely. The shock comes with a plastic tube thatbI thought was a protective cover but there are no true detailed instructions to how to use it. It left me guessing on how to used the separate shock mounting kit (strut mount 142992).

Decent Shock but not worth the price

Seemed like it was of fair quality but the price wasn’t worth the performance. Easy to install. Came with instructions.
