I replaced the rear shocks on my 2011 Honda Civic. Turns out that I had to reuse the rubber bushing that were on the old shocks. In addition, initially the shocks were making a noise as I drove. The sleeve over the screw on the top of the shock was longer than the original sleeve. It could not be removed and shortened so I had to add washers to use as spacers above the top rubber bushing to be able to crank down on the nut and compress the rubber bushing enough to keep the new shocks from rattling.
