About Toyota Corolla Shocks and Struts

Struts are responsible for supporting the weight of the vehicle and keeping the wheels in contact with the road. The struts affect ride quality by controlling how the suspension behaves when it hits a bump, like how the wheel assembly moves up and down. A bad strut will not only cause a bumpy ride but an unsafe one as well. If you're looking for replacement Toyota Corolla struts, you can find them at AutoZone.

When to Replace Your Shocks and Struts

Struts usually fail due to corrosion, but they can also bend or crack, or even develop a leak. Struts typically need to be replaced between 50,000 and 80,000 miles. Worn struts will cause your vehicle to dive under heavy braking, as well as make it feel unstable at higher speeds, such as when driving on the highway. Struts also affect the steering system, so if you notice you have difficulty steering or the wheel itself feels stiff, the struts may be a likely culprit.

Top Struts For a Toyota Corolla

Since struts affect are a crucial component of the suspension system, they must work and operate as intended. Struts need to be replaced in pairs since if one side is corroded or worn out, the other one is probably as well. When buying new struts, you'll have excellent options from top brands like KYB, Sensen, and Duralast.

AutoZone carries most car components for your Corolla including struts. You can also sort available options by year, make, model, and engine size. Better ride quality not so noisy. Seems to be quality built, not flimsy or cheap metal. Will update on longevity once I have em on for awhile. So far so good, happy with them. Pretty easy as well.

I replaced both front struts on my 2011 Toyota Corolla and these were super easy to install. Getting the complete assembly was a no brainer because the spring can be a pain if you don’t have proper tools, not to mention dangerous. The best part is that I saved a ton of money doing it myself. Just make sure to check the alignment afterwards and adjust as necessary. Overall great product and I will definitely purchase again when I swap out the rears.
