About
Honda Civic Tie Rod End
One of your Civic’s many advantages is its ability to corner easily and zip in and out of parking spaces. Keep control over your wheel with a tie end rod replacement for Honda Civic. This solves problems such as a shaky or vibrating steering wheel and tires that wear unevenly due to worn-out tie rod ends. Talk to one of our helpful staff members at AutoZone to learn more. You can benefit further from our Loan-a-Tool program if you want to do the repair yourself, as well as our free battery charging and engine diagnostic testing services.

Install requires special tools (2005 Civic EX)

I ordered 2 of these to replace the driver side and passenger side. The installation for a 2005 Honda Civic Coupe EX and similar models requires a 29mm Crows Foot due to limited space near the Power Steering Rack. This information can also be cited from various repair manuals. You can probably get it done without the crows foot and use vice grips or a regular crescent wrench but it will be more challenging.
