How read your own Check Engine Light with AutoZone Fix Finder

Checking your own check engine light at AutoZone takes just a few minutes. Walk inside and talk to an AutoZoner to borrow an OBD Reader. Find the OBD port on your vehicle. It's likely under the driver's side dash. Turn the ignition on. Connect the reader to the port. The display on the reader will show, read, and then done. Once you're finished, unplug the reader. Turn the car off, then bring the reader back into the store to get your report. If you have an issue, reference our check engine light hand out or your owner's manual.
