Using CRC Throttle Body & Air-Intake Cleaner on a 1978 Datsun
Hi there. Emily Reeves here in Flying Sparks garage. And today I'm going to use CRCS throttle body and air intake cleaner on a not so average application. Here. I've got stacked injection atop ls in our 1978 dots into a easy. And the butterflies in these individual throttle bodies are so dirty. You guys take a look at the gunk. So today, I'm going to take this throttle body cleaner and clean them up because this cleaner is designed for cleaning varnishes and the gummy nous that builds up inside throttle bodies. I'm really looking forward to getting these clean up. Aaron is inside the car and he's going to operate the throttle. We're gonna put some product on this red shop rag. Cool. So you can see some build up down inside there and see if we can get that off. Alright, Publix. Nice. That's what we're looking for. CRC also suggests we use the mass air flow sensor cleaner every time we use the throttle body cleaner when we service our air filter. That, of course, doesn't apply to this car because we have no air filters. Check that job off the list.
