How to Open the Hood on a 2016 Honda CR-V
To open the hood on your 2016 Honda CR-V, start by entering the vehicle through the driver’s side door. Once inside, locate the hood release lever under the left-hand inner kick panel. It is often marked with a small icon of a vehicle with the hood open. Firmly grasp the handle and pull it back until you hear the hood pop open. Next, exit the vehicle and walk to the front, standing in the center. Slide your hand between the hood and the grille, with your palm facing upwards. Feel for a latch underneath the hood and push it with your fingers. Now you should be able to lift the hood and access the engine components.
