Overall
For years I've driven my '06 TSX and tolerated a few minor quirks (Check Emissions light on dash, cruise control intermittently not working). I'd asked the dealership about both, but was told it was related to a strict CA emissions spec that wasn't affecting the car's performance, and a faulty cruise control switch that would require disassembling the steering wheel to fix ($$$). I ran an OBD scan out of curiosity one day that pulled one code indicating a fault with the Position Sensor Assembly, aka Range Sensor/Neutral Safety Switch. I bought it, removed the left front wheel and had easy access to replace it. In the weeks that followed I noticed to my surprise that my cruise control now worked 100% of the time and the emissions light was no longer appearing on the dash. If your car has either of these symptoms and a code relating to the range or position sensor - this is an inexpensive and super easy diy fix!
