I ordered this and had it sent to my daughter because she was having car trouble. Arrived quickly. I don't know however if it's been installed on the car yet so can't say if it works etc.

I put this alternator on my plow truck a year and a half ago and it seems to be great. No issues yet. I drive this truck all over plowing for 5-6 hours every time I plow.

The process of finding and resolving the dead battery issues took time, effort and patience. \r\nIt also took a few parts.\r\nFinding them for my classic truck is no easy task but the staff at the Mililani store made it happen.\r\nFrom battery/alternator tests to bringing in the right parts and ensuring everything was right; the Woman and Men of this store are all on top of their game.\r\nThe old parts were tested and found non working, the fitment of new parts were checked and I installed them without issues.\r\nMoving on to the next set of repairs ..... I had a parasitic drain on my 84 Bronco, did all the checking, and found out it was a bad alternator, it was draining my battery at 4.3 amps! Bought a new one, along with a new voltage regulator, and my baby is purring again, great product!

Perfect fit for my 1975 Ford F-350 dump truck the old one was put in wrong by P.O. so it shorted out

this Alternator for an '80 F150 replaced the one I bought from Rockauto for 36 dollars which lasted only about six months. \r\nThis one from Duralast seems to be working well, it puts out 65amps (5 amps more than the one from Rockauto).... easy to install as just about everything is on the 300inline six. Ford was stupid for discontinuing these engines.

The alternator was the correct one, however, it didn't solve my problem [alternator dash light on constantly]. I installed a new solenoid, and that also did not solve the problem. My next move is to take it into an AutoZone store and let them put their electronics on the Econoline. Hopefully, that'll solve my problem without too much extra cost.\n\nThe Alternator itself was good and I recommend it to anyone who needs one. For the price, you cannot beat Autozone's costs.

Working but makes noise. Would be better to upgrade to one wire setup unit.

Bearings were bad out of the box. For an 85 F250 7.5l

I’ve gone through one alternator every six months or so because the bearings keep failing.

Two brand new alternator and nether working had to go somewhere else to get a good new one
