All transmission cooler lines must be flushed before installing a new or rebuilt transmission as per OEM, or you will end up with contaminants left behind in the cooler entering the new units that could cause another transmission failure! LUBEGARD KOOLER KLEEN Transmission Cooler Line Flush removes the contaminants from the transmission cooler lines safely and completely. It uses a proprietary mixture of detergents and can be used for the cooler lines in automatic, CVT, DCT and manual transmissions. It removes grease, dirt, grime, and metal shavings that can clog up the lines and prevents the contamination of new or rebuilt units without any water in the formula which can be detrimental to any transmissions. It will not degrade or affect new transmission fluid. It is ideal for shops that do not have dedicated hot flush machines. It is the safest, most complete and effective Transmission Cooler Line Flush available.

Review Summary
The transmission cooler flush product appears to be generally effective at cleaning out transmission lines and coolers. Many customers reported it worked well and helped flush out contaminants and debris when replacing a transmission. Some noted using two cans or flushing in both directions provided the best results. A few had issues with the included tip not fitting their vehicle, but the overall consensus is that it is a good product for flushing transmission systems as an important step when replacing a transmission.

Use this if you're replacing a bad transmission!
Anonymous9 months agoVerified PurchaseRecommendedI was replacing a burned up transmission. Lots of chunky metal in the pan and stuck to the magnet. I certainly didn't want any residue from the cooler infecting my new transmission. This stuff foams up, and pushed all the junk out. I used half a can, blew it out with compressed air, and then used the rest of the can. It came out clean toward the end, so I think it did a good job. Definitely recommend this if you're replacing your transmission, and don't have access to a proper flush machine.Helpful?
Not Universal
Bob9 months agoVerified PurchaseThe so-called universal tip was not universal. I attempted to use this on my GMC Yukon, which has a 6L80e. Half the can ended up running down my arm and I could not get the universal tip to seal appropriately. It did flush some fluid out but honestly, I feel it was a waste of money.Purchased for: 2016 GMC Yukon XLHelpful?
