Prestone DEX-COOL® (orange) antifreeze+coolant (AFC) is specially designed to work with All GM vehicles 1995 & newer /GM approved formula (GMC, Chevrolet, Buick, Cadillac, Pontiac, Saturn, Oldsmobile, Hummer), most Ford vehicles 2011 - 2018 (Ford, Lincoln, Mercury) and most FCA vehicles 2013 & newer (Ram, Dodge, Jeep, Chrysler). This extended life coolant is formulated for these engines and the specific needs placed on the coolant. Prestone's Antifreeze+Coolants are designed to the highest standards using state of the art technology. These fluids are designed to not only manage the engine temp, antifreeze and antiboil, they also guard against rust & corrosion. This fluid is designed to last 5yrs / 150,000 miles. I needed to exchange some oil (I grabbed the wrong weight) the bottle was still sealed it was pretty obvious but the kid opens the bottle breaking the seal and looked inside. I guess people try to steal a quart of oil by replacing the good oil with dirty oil, whatever. Anyway the kid at the counter took it back and I purchased the right weight 10w30 and some brake cleaner. He asked for my phone number and pulls my profile up. It has my first name last name and “Veteran” there on the screen. After I paid I asked him if he applied my discount and he says “no” he didn’t realize that I was a veteran even though it’s on my profile. The hilarious thing is I’m wearing a sweatshirt that has in large bold colorful print “U.S. Marine” and I’m wearing a ball cap that reads “I am a Veteran…proudly served in the United States Marine Corps” I mean it’s hilarious! It’s why all of the memes about AutoZone “I need windshield wipers” “what color is your vehicle sir?” Clueless.
