Dorman OE Fix™ Exclusives

Solutions designed to be better than original equipment

Dorman puts repair professionals and vehicle owners first. Whenever an OEM doesn’t offer the service solution you deserve, Dorman develops a better solution—an OE FIX™ solution. We have thousands of OE FIX parts that come in countless varieties. Some require complex mechanical and software engineering, resulting in improved reliability and a simplified service. Others are simple and deliver a direct replacement for a failure-prone component that the OE dealer only sells as part of a complete assembly, saving you time and money.

The value of OE fix

Repair professionals and vehicle owners are often frustrated when trying to fix cars and trucks using original equipment. Original manufacturers don't always provide parts that minimize cost and installation time, or maximize future reliability and serviceability. That's where Dorman steps in with products that solve these common repair problems.

First one was wrong, second was so distorted it didn’t work, third one arrived with a broken tab. Really disappointing and annoying. It’s taken weeks to get a working window, and now a door panel that’s not properly attached.

Perfect for my 2012 Jeep Liberty. Installation was easy enough for a complete novice armed with a detailed YouTube video to do.

Bought it in June , died in September although I almost never used it as it I drove windows closed and with A/C this entire summer. This is a really low quality part.

2012 Jeep Liberty. Not too difficult to install . Once installed and wiring and switches plugged in I tested the regulator. The window will go all the way up and then come halfway down on it’s own. I tried resetting window memory but nothing fixed the problem. I returned to my Auto Zone store for advice but no one was knowledgeable about the problem. They said I should find someone with an obd2 reader to see if there were any codes. Can’t Auto Zone do that? No one seemed to concerned about my problem. “ NOT VERY IMPRESSED “ with Auto Zone at this point! May start going elsewhere!
