UV dye is bright
Rob S6 months agoVerified PurchaseRecommendedThe UV dye worked great to find the leak. Ran the can of refrigerant in and ran the car for about 20 min. Used a black light to scan for leaks, this dye showed up a bright fluorescent greenish yellow. Ended up being a leak in the condenser.Purchased for: 2006 Honda CR-VHelpful?

Works well
Billy9 months agoVerified PurchaseRecommendedThe product worked as advertised. The UV die was easy to see with a black light. I have an older car with the modern AC system and the refrigerant would leak out every so often. I tried tightening all the fittings but to no success. I found this at the store and decided to try it. To my surprise it was easy to see where it was leaking. If it had not been for the UV and black light I would have never found it. The leaks were coming from the factory hose with several pin holes? I would have never looked there. Highly recommendedHelpful?
