    A bad valve allowed the AC system to leak out and stop working. This cheap part allowed me to ha back on the road cold and has been working great since. Due to the old part leaking I did use a vacuum pump on the system before charging with refrigerant. BTW - the vacuum pump was free to use from AutoZone with a deposit. Great part and a cheap fix to get the car cold again
