Solutions designed to be better than original equipment
Dorman puts repair professionals and vehicle owners first. Whenever an OEM doesn’t offer the service solution you deserve, Dorman develops a better solution—an OE FIX™ solution. We have thousands of OE FIX parts that come in countless varieties. Some require complex mechanical and software engineering, resulting in improved reliability and a simplified service. Others are simple and deliver a direct replacement for a failure-prone component that the OE dealer only sells as part of a complete assembly, saving you time and money.

The value of OE fix
Repair professionals and vehicle owners are often frustrated when trying to fix cars and trucks using original equipment. Original manufacturers don't always provide parts that minimize cost and installation time, or maximize future reliability and serviceability. That's where Dorman steps in with products that solve these common repair problems.

Good fit, low quality
David10 months agoI only got 2 years and about 10k miles out of mine.Purchased for: 2007 Toyota Tacoma 2.7L 2TRFEHelpful?
Inconvenient
Lee Beeson2 years agoVerified PurchaseSweepstakes EntryI can't accurately review the product as it wasn't used. I'm currently traveling out of town and my mechanic informed me that it was the wrong part and asked if I would call the store and and explain so he could exchange it. I was informed that they would have to have my signature to do this...so I am still going to be without a vehicle when I return...disappointed and inconvenienced with this policyHelpful?
Seem to be high quality

Convenient and seemingly quality
Jordan3 years agoVerified PurchaseRecommendedSweepstakes EntryA relatively easy job to complete. This part was the most readily available, yet seems to be quality. I have not been having wheel-bearing issues anymore. I will update this if I start to have issues within the next few dozen thousand miles.Purchased for: 2010 Toyota TacomaHelpful?

Decent Hub Assembly
Curt4 years agoVerified PurchaseRecommendedSweepstakes EntryIt was available and reasonably priced. I needed a hub assy and CV axel. Autozone had them in stock so that's great. The hub looks to be decent quality but a no name bearing. Probably from China (That's the questionable thing)Purchased for: 2011 Tacoma 4x4Helpful?

The bearing fit well, the dust/water seal did not!
Josh5 years agoVerified PurchaseSweepstakes EntryThe bearing fit well with no issues. The dust/water seal that mates with the CV axle did not fit into the hub. The outside diameter was to small for the inside diameter of the hub fitting loose. I had to modify the seal by using a center punch on the inside of the seal to deform the outside diameter of the seal to fit it in the hub, and use a small amount of sealer on the outside diameter of the seal so water/ dirt does not leak behind it. Measure the OD of the seal compared to the factory one with calipers before purchase.Purchased for: 2014 Toyota Tacoma 4x4Helpful?
Went on no issues, failed after 1000 miles
Ryan5 years agoWill be returning to Autozone today. Bearing was installed correctly, wheel nut torqued to 173 ft/lb. No issues 1000 miles then at about 35 mph you could feel a drag on the front wheel, as well as a very bad vibration. Took apart, metal shavings produced from the back of the assembly into the hub.Purchased for: Toyota Tacoma 2013Helpful?

Max01017 years agoVerified PurchaseRecommendedAfter talkin' about how my wife's car feels and sounds like after test driving it for a while. Comes to find out that she needed to replace the front whee l bearing. Thanks to the help of the Auto Zone staff they was able to locate us a assembled wheel hub with a wheel bearing already pressed in. Thank you for all the help and saving me tons of time. The best part of this whole experience is my wife is safe and happy.Purchased for: 2008 TacomaHelpful?
