KNOWLEDGE IS POWER
Car brakes work by leveraging three main principles of physics: leverage, hydraulics, and friction.
When changing your brake pads, be sure to inspect and replace your rotors and hardware if necessary to ensure optimal braking performance.
If your brakes squeal until you press the pedal down, it may be your wear indicator telling you to change your pads.

Verify Your Rotor Thickness Before You Buy!!!
ANDREW1 month agoVerified PurchaseBought these for my 2019 Chevy Silverado LT 5.3L. I should have taken some pictures but in the heat of the moment that wasn't on the forefront of my mind. That being said these did not fit. Autozone did refund my money. I searched other stores and they all called out the same size rotor for this year make and model. Upon further research 2019 is a split year from old body style to new. Mine is the newer body style but what the original rotor had stamped on it was 28mm for wear material thickness. These are thicker which caused the caliper bracket to grind into the rotor. I came back to the reviews on this and found similar accounts of the same issue. So my guess is this is an industry wide issue with matching the correct parts to this vehicle year group due to being a "split year". I bought the rear rotors and those work great. Im sure these would if they were the correct size. So I don't expect the big box stores to try and fix this "inventory" issue so that's a lesson learned on my end to go one step further and verify the stamped nominal wear thickness size on my rotors before I purchase new ones. As I said the rear rotors work great and pads as well. Hope this review helps mitigate any headaches for those with the same vehicle year group and avoid the back and forth of finding the correct part size.Purchased for: 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 1500Helpful?
