The tool worked as intended, I used it to replace the valves in my s10 and my Honda foreman.

This tool did work for valve seal r&r on 7.3l

Easily used to remove valve spring retainers on LS 843 rec-port heads (and all LS heads).

this will wotk on an old V8 but slow. However it is great for motorcycles and small engines

Arrived late. But for how dinky this spring compressor looks, it works just fine. Also it was very inexpensive. Make sure you have big enough valve spring caps otherwise this might give you some grief.

Easy to rent and did you he job.

Borrowed this tool from my local AutoZone to remove 1967 Chevrolet '492 Valve Springs.\r\nTake your time lining up the tool and be patient. It does exactly what it is supposed to do!

It worked great. The T-Handle Arm falls out, but you get used to it and like it as you continue along in your repair.

It is a bit of a pain to tighten down the tool but it worked like it should.

This spring compressor tool worked well on my '88 4.2 jeep motor.

Tool was in perfect working order and all components included. \r\n Tool was easy to use and worked perfectly for compressing valve springs. Once springs were compressed it allowed easy access for removal of spring retainers.

Sales person checked tool to make sure it worked before loaning it out .tool was easy to use and made for fast job.

Purchased this valve spring compressor to replace all the valve springs on my SBC 383 stroker engine. One of my intake valve springs broke so I purchased some quality valve springs (Howards) and replace all 16 valve springs with this OEM TOOLS valve spring compressor. This tool worked great. I was able to change all 16 valve springs with this tool. The compressor didn't bend, break or fail in anyway. I wished the center part of the compressor was a little more stable and didn't move around as much but I was able to get the job done in a few hours. I'm glad I purchased this tool because it made my job a lot easier than using my other valve spring compressors. With the OEM compressor you can get into tight places other compressors cannot.

I like it couldn't do it without it

I was doing a valve job on a diesel cylinder head. I misplaced my valve spring compressor. I was very happy to use the tool program at AutoZone. The tool worked perfectly. Thank you Autozone.

I already own a "universal" tool, but I needed clamps to hold the forks on the springs, and it would not compress far enough to easily replace the valves.\r\nInstead of using the T handle, I used a 3/8 ratchet, which made the job really easy.

Worked excellent

Fairly easy to use, and compared to O’Rielly brand it seemed to thread down easier. However, even though this loaner tool was brand new, still warped in plastic, it did not come with a T-Handle and had to use the one from the O’Rielly sorting compressor. Without a T-Handle, replacing 12 valve seals would’ve been a hassle. I couldn’t imagine doing 24.
