    I had bought this fuel pump and installed it into my 2017 vw Passat. And it would run for 20 minutes then the pump would stop working. I got a replacement and installed it, the car and pump are working just as it should

    The fuel pump fit my daughter's 2015 VW Passat without issue. I originally bought a less expensive replacement from an online parts retailer. The online unit did not come with a sediment filter (required) or the tank gasket (also required). Had to return the online unit and bought this one from AutoZone. Trust your local Auto Zone. One more thing: the fuel control unit becomes brittle and can likely break while unplugging from the fuel pump. Be prepared to replace that as well.
