Didn't work
Brandon2 years agoVerified PurchaseSweepstakes EntryThis fuel pump didn't work in my 2006 Ford mustang gt. As soon as I place it in my car. It made the fuel light go from half full to zero it had bad electric issues and I was not satisfiedPurchased for: 2006 ford mustangHelpful?
Not bad, but disappointed
Samuel2 years agoSweepstakes EntryThis was a more affordable part; However, unfortunately, more affordable does not always guarantee better. I had seen two good reviews and two bad, the bad saying that the fuel level sensor did not work and was not compatible. I decided to give Delphi the benefit of the doubt since there were not many reviews. Disappointingly, after 4 days of driving with the new fuel pump, it seems the fuel level sensor has failed after reaching half of a tank. Takeaway: Don’t go for cheaper, check reviews, get good parts.Purchased for: 2006 Mustang V6Helpful?

Garbage
Stephen5 years agoSweepstakes EntryI've had nothing but problems with my car since putting the fuel pump in. The fuel level first telling me I'm out of gas with anything below a half a tank and also the fuel pump giving problems when shifting gears. My tuner who specializes in 2005-2010 mustang (lito) is the one who finally figured out this problem. He's literally spent a month trying to get this pump to work correctly. My old fuel pump never gave me a problem until it died. I paid top dollar so I wouldn't have these kind of issues with the pump. Buy a different brand!!!Purchased for: 2006 Mustang GTHelpful?
Great pump! Bad fuel level sensor
JonT5 years agoVerified PurchaseRecommendedSweepstakes EntryI have a 2005 v6 Mustang and the pump fit great and installed without issue. Full power was restored. However, I can only give three stars because the fuel level sensor on the pump is not compatible with my vehicle. I have driven the vehicle over 400 miles since the fuel pump replacement and I am receiving a DTE FLI DATA ERROR along with a check engine light. Research shows the fuel level sensor is not sending the proper voltage to reflect the amount of fuel in the tank. So I must replace the sensor. I can recommend this product only under the condition you have the time, patience, and extra money to replace the fuel level sensor if necessary.Purchased for: 2005 v6 MustangHelpful?
