Five reverse-fluted sockets make up the Duralast Spiral Bolt Extractor Set used to free damaged nuts and bolts in minutes. An internal taper allows the robust extractors to fit metric and standard applications. For versatility and ease, the chrome-moly sockets are designed for use with 3/8" drive ratchets, wrenches, and even power tools to make the job easier. The corrosion-resistant finish guarantees a lifetime of use.
- Robust chrome-moly extractors for loosening stripped, damaged, and rusted nuts and bolts in an array of applications
- Reverse spiral flutes bite into the fasteners and create maximum grip for easy removal where other tools fall short
- Progressive design of the internal cavity produces dual fitment capabilities, allowing one socket to fit SAE and metric fasteners
- Keep sockets organized with the included storage rail
- Perfect addition to the Duralast 80-100, includes metric sizes 8mm, 10mm, 13mm, and 19mm; SAE sizes 5/16", 11/16", and 3/4"

- ELIJAH14 days agoVerified PurchaseI had a stripped 10mm bolt. Counter manager in gray shirt almost sold me wrong tool, a 9mm. Even after I asked if it would work he said yes, I doubted him and searched for the right tool, which I found. By then, another gentleman wanted to check out but gray shirt yelled at me that I was next even though I wasn’t. He then tried to argue with me, just check me out Man

- Fjrdj29 days agoThey're okay, but should maybe be 1/2" drive. Typically nuts and bolts strip trying to loosen them, and will end up requiring a lot of torque to break free, but the 3/8" drive doesn't hold up and you end up breaking ratchets and breaker bars.

Works on 18mm hex head.
Anonymous3 months agoVerified PurchaseRecommendedI rounded off an 18mm hex torqued at 125 ft/lbs because there was not enough clearance. The 24 in flex bar I was using did not have a shallow head. There is nothing on the extractor set package about removing an 18 mm hex. I needed a 1/2 in drive. Since the outside of the drive end of the extractor socket had a hex on it. I was able to use a 24 in creasent wrench on the outside of the socket to break the bolt loose.Purchased for: 2014 Chevy Express 2500. Right rear caliper bracket bolts.Helpful?

Worked great
SR3 months agoVerified PurchaseRecommendedChoose the socket that is closest in size to the nut or bolt. Tap it on with a hammer to ensure a good bite. Then use an impact gun or long breaker bar to remove the stuck item.Helpful?
