If anything is good before leaving autozone
Efren Landeros3 months agoVerified PurchaseIt was bad. Had to check other electrical components before going back to the alternator and taking it back to autozone to have it tested and it failed. Alternator was bad from when i first installed it. Had to do twice or triple the work and missed some time from work because of the new bad alternator. And couldn't enjoy my holidays because of all this mess as well. Zero stars.Helpful?

He had a mechanic check it and it was determined that the alternator was bad. That was the first disappointment because I was under the impresstion that I was purchasing a new one. When he tried to take it to the local AutoZone they refused to exchange it. It took some haggling and about a week of back and forth before the store would finally exchange it. Eventually he got the car running but I will NEVER buy anything from AutoZone. This was ridiculous. I would give it 0 stars if I could.Purchased for: 2008 Honda CivicHelpful?

Faulty from day one
Josh S.6 months agoVerified PurchaseIt's only putting out 11 volts. Have to pay someone to change it again. Took two weeks to troubleshoot because it was just enough to keep the car going for a while, and not reading as bad. So much time wasted with the dying, yanking the battery, testing, recharging, replacing, testing the whole system, etc etc.Helpful?

Sweepstakes EntryThis Alternator will work for a month or so then the regulator on the Alternator will stop working correctly and the battery light will flash on and off at times. Have replaced twice so far. Not happy with this product. I would like to upgrade maybe the problem will go away.
