Review Summary
The harmonic balancer puller tool generally works as intended to remove harmonic balancers and steering wheels, but some customers experienced issues with the quality of the included bolts, which were prone to bending, stripping, or not fitting properly. The tool may not be suitable for larger or heavier-duty balancers. While functional, customers should be aware of the potential quality concerns with the hardware.

MICHAEL1 month agoVerified PurchaseNot good for a ford 4.0. The supplied bolts are not long enough to secure the puller ti the balancer. Had to go to Home Depot to get the right length and some washers.Helpful?

Harmonic balancer puller, maybe.
Dean Long4 months agoVerified PurchaseRecommendedThe bolts did not match for my 1988 Chevy K2500. While two matched the thread, they were too short. I ended up returning item and bought the $45 steering wheel puller, whose bolts did not match either. Go figure.Purchased for: 1988 Chevrolet K2500Helpful?

Tool Rental Kit has more bolt sizes...
Ralph7 months agoVerified PurchaseBought this to pull balancer on crank of 2003 Chevy Trailblazer, but it did not come with bolts that threaded into the harmonic balancer. The kit you rent from Auto Zone has the bolts necessary for working on the inline six-cylinder engine in 2003 Trailblazer, Envoy, Rainier, Bravada. Use the tool rental option. I only bought this set because the store had no rental sets in stock.Helpful?

Terry Lee9 months agoVerified PurchaseI've used Duralast products with good success in the past and will continue to do so. The product in question ( Harmonic puller) failed. Cast yoke bent at pulling point. I stopped before complete failure. Will return for refund soon. Not a game changer just unable to use.Helpful?
