    Had to replace this fuel door lock because the original would not allow the door to open. This is my second Sportwagen, had to do the same repair on the first one I had. This replacement actuator works ok so far. Per VW's design, the electrical connector mounts on the inner fender support so the interior panel needs to be removed. In order to remove the panel, the rear seat back and rear floor trim panels need to be removed. Need a Torx screwdriver, auto trim removal tool, and about 1 1/2 hours or so for this repair.
