  • Upgraded materials - this stabilizer bar is made from solid forged steel to resist failure caused by weakness in the original part's hollow tube construction
  • Compete solution - new bushings and installation hardware are included with the stabilizer bar for a complete repair
  • Quality tested - this part has undergone try-on, corrosion and material testing to ensure a quality fit and long service life

Solutions designed to be better than original equipment

Dorman puts repair professionals and vehicle owners first. Whenever an OEM doesn’t offer the service solution you deserve, Dorman develops a better solution—an OE FIX™ solution. We have thousands of OE FIX parts that come in countless varieties. Some require complex mechanical and software engineering, resulting in improved reliability and a simplified service. Others are simple and deliver a direct replacement for a failure-prone component that the OE dealer only sells as part of a complete assembly, saving you time and money.

The value of OE fix

Repair professionals and vehicle owners are often frustrated when trying to fix cars and trucks using original equipment. Original manufacturers don't always provide parts that minimize cost and installation time, or maximize future reliability and serviceability. That's where Dorman steps in with products that solve these common repair problems.

Solid construction , it does come marked with numbers on the driver side down, was fairly easy to install. If u match up the old with the new the new one looks a tad longer but works like a charm

Heavy duty construction - felt heavier than the original. Replacement hardware included. 4-stars because the instructions said it would be indicated on the part what side was the driver's side. There was no marking. I was able to figure out, by matching the contour with the original part.

Used on a 2009 Chevy Impala LT. This part is heavy duty and solid metal, unlike the original sway bar that was hollow in the center and ended up broken on one end. My rookie mistake was installing the links bolts upside down so the threads were facing down, and they hang down underneath the car too far that way. Easy fix though. Make sure to install link bolts with the threads and nut on the top! Also had to pop out the tie rod end on one side to pull out the old bar and slide new one in. Easy job if you're comfortable with DIY. Recommend.
